Colleagues,
Our 7th Annual WMass ASIS Scholarship Golf Tournament was again a great success. We had a full field of 24 foursomes in attendance. It was a fantastic day of golf and networking with some old friends, and Mother Nature and Kirk worked together to hold off the rain.
Thanks to our sponsorships, we expect to be able to double the scholarship rewards that we provided last year. Again, a special thanks to our Dinner Sponsor – Smith & Wesson, Lunch Sponsor – Arrow Security, Hole Sponsors – Big Y Foods, Navco, Securitas(Spfld), Securitas(Boston), Apollo Security, Mass Mutual, Niscayah, American Alarm & Pinkerton. Last but not least, thanks to Joe Cyr, Golf Committee Chair, for his hard work and ongoing efforts to make this day a success.
Without the continued support of all these groups and individuals, this scholarship program would not be made possible.
We’re not done yet …. Our June meeting is just around the corner on Wednesday, June 16th. This year we have change this social event from our traditional Clam Bake to our “WMass ASIS BBQ Blast”. We will hold our business meeting at Famous Dave’s BBQ, located at 1750 Boston Road, Springfield, Ma at 12 noon.
The menu selection will be Two Meat BBQ that comes with Coleslaw, Fries, Corn on the Cob and my favorite…Cornbread.
The meat selection will be Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, BBQ or Roasted Chicken, Rib Tips, Chicken Tenders Hot Link Sausage, Sweetwater Catfish or Wings.
The cost of the meeting …… are you ready for this $15.00 all inclusive.
