Our first annual Law Enforcement Appreciation night was held on Wednesday, October 15th at the Log Cabin Banquet House.  This event was well attended by Law Enforcement agencies from across Western Massachusetts.  Our guest speakers, Springfield Police Commissioner William Fitchet, Hampden County Sheriff Michael Ashe, and Hampden County District Attorney William Bennett were well received.

 Two of our three Chapter Scholarship recipients were in attendance and were awarded their scholarships at the event.  Bill Powers received the Chapter Award as well as the matching ASIS Foundation Award for a total of $1500.00, Gemma DeJackome received a Chapter Award of $500.00 and not able to make the event due to class schedule conflicts was our third Chapter Award recipient of $500.00, Jonathan Banek.

 This event gave us all in the private sector an opportunity to show our gratitude to the Men and Women in Law Enforcement who support us all year round and was a great networking opportunity for all those who attended.
